Abstract

Remote sensing: The science of acquiring information about and object without entering in contact with it, by sensing and recording reflected or emitted energy and processing analysing and applying that information.

It is the art and science of making measurement of the earth using sensor on airplane and satellite. This sensor collect data in the form of image.
